PAVILLION
A temporary summer time bar situated in the middle of a ruined church. Using isulated wood panels as walls this temporary pavallion’s interior wall are lit up with LED lights to form a patterned wall.
The patterns on the wall are inspired my the 4 nature element symbols; earth, wind, water and fire. The pavilion is temporary to emphasize the importance of these natural elements and to remind people to cherish nature while it is still there. Because these things won’t stay this way forever.
The roof is designed for flexibily; to enjoy the sunlight and have shelter from the rain at the same time. Target customers would be office workers and students near by. As i was researching pavlions which used lights to manipulate the asthetic quaities, this experimental piece inspired me to use these patterns in the interior of my pavalion.
